Tasted Tuesday 23 June 2009. 330ml bottle, 5.2% Alc/Vol.
Dark reddish brown colour with a thin short lasting head. Aromas are of grassy hops and caramel and subtle roasted notes. The palate is nutty, hoppy, roasted malt, soft and creamy but short. Quite bitter on the finish too. Nothing outstanding here and while this is ok for a session beer it is too light on for a Dark Ale.
